A year ago I was blessed to meet this little cupcake, Lesedi, for her newborn session, she was such a darling to photograph…
I cannot believe a whole year has gone by, it seriously went so quickly.
Anyways, back to Lesedi, I met up with her and her beautiful family for a portrait session in the park to document her turning one.

We had such a good time, as always!

I seriously ADORE this photo below, love love love!!

We’ve had so much drama at home this week, including a trip to the ER for little miss Boo, she is ok, thank goodness, just had to be glued up because she tried to climb out of the bath.. All I can say is thank goodness, stitches are a thing of the past.. I don’t think we would have survived stitches.
Anyways, I am bit behind in admin, I am going to try catch up tonight and tomorrow, so if you are waiting for a reply from me, please understand, I will reply as soon as I can.
On that note : please also be aware that I am a work at home mom, I have Miss Boo home with me, although I do try to collect and reply to emails during the day, the majority of my work is done at night when my girls are in bed. Emails are usually answered that night, this week however, as mentioned above has been chaotic.
Thank you for understanding.

Peyton – 9 days new – Johannesburg Newborn photographer

I met Peyton’s awesome parents at the end of 2011 for their maternity session..

Little Peyton arrived 3 weeks before her due date <3 and her and her parents came through to me in Hartbeespoort last week Tuesday for her newborn portraits.
She really made us work for the photos she wanted constant feeding and tried to outlast us, however we persevered and of course we won in the end and managed to capture some lovely portraits of her.

I will be photographing Peyton again in a few months and I cannot wait to see how much and how beautifully she grows.
I adore my stages package as it gives me a chance to see my sweet newborns again <3

Anabelle – Hartbeespoort Newborn photography

Anabelle - 9 days new

Anabelle and her parents came through to me in Hartbeespoort a week ago, she was 9 days new and absolutely perfect.
Anabelle has her mom and dad completely wrapped around her little finger, they are positively smitten with her (and who could blame them?), it is always such an honour to watch new parents with their teeny tiny little newborn, it makes my heart so happy.

This session was a real treat for me, in many ways, not only was Anabelle a perfect little model for me, but because they came to me, I had all my props at my fingertips.. wow.
When I travel for newborn portraits, I obviously cannot take all my goodies with, they would never fit in my car, hehe.. so as you will see, I had so much fun in this session, and I could have carried on for a few more hours too

Happy new year
Hope it’s been great so far.
I KNOW my blog has been dead for ages, but I am hoping to fix it this year and be a better blogger.

I’ve had so many awesome awesome sessions, it’s going to hard sharing them all with you.. if you don’t already LIKE my facebook page, head over there now and have a peep at some super cute kids.

I met up with Reece’s parents end of last year for their maternity session and we had loads of fun in the bush in Hartbeespoort.

Their little guy was my first newborn of 2012 and he was absolutely awesome.

Did you notice the new logo? I {heart} it loads, it’s much more me..
New logo… and new blog design
My website is also getting an upgrade, I hope to go live around the end of January – very excited..
I’ve been busy..

With photography, I find myself changing as the years go by, what I captured two or three years ago might not be what I love this year, ya know?
So with that in mind, my new website will only show photos from sessions in 2011, I think this will showcase my work a lot better.

Mine on Monday – hartbeespoort baby photographer

so in the effort to blog MORE and take more photos of my beautiful girls, I’m going to try post some photos of them every Monday, so here is my first go.
These were taken last month, my itty bitty baby Boo is already one whole year old.. can you believe it?

She is an absolute joy (and a handful, my little redhead).

Kamika is totally in love with her baby sister, and Taeyah follows big sis around like a puppy.. so much of love.

Kamika recently started guitar lessons and she is enjoying it so very much.. she has even written a song for her baby sister <3
