North West Province Newborn photographer – Maia ♥ 4 weeks young

I am so behind in blogging, I’m going to try catch up this week, it’s insane how many awesome sessions I haven’t shared yet…

Maia and her parents came through to me in Hartbeespoort so we can attempt yo capture some sleepy “newborn” poses of her.. at 4 weeks old, she was a lot older than my usual newborns, I like to get my newborns under 2 weeks, although if I can get them sooner, yes please…
I told mom that Maia will fight us, but I’ve got patience and we will get the shots..
and yes, she tried very hard to outlast us..
but we won and got some super sweet captures..

So here she is.. at 4 weeks old.. LOOK at her hair.. swooooons. such a beautiful baby <3

Johannesburg baby Photographer – Leila at Delta Park

I met up with Leila and her parents at Delta park a few weeks ago.
This is the 2nd time I am photographing her <3 the first time she was just 3 months old.. and now here she is sitting and getting ready to crawl:)
We had such lovely weather for a long time, then came the morning of the session and wham, freezing cold winds:(it was freezing so we kept her bundled up nice and warm.

Leila was very serious at our photoshoot and the smiles were few and far between:)

She would only smile for mommy <3

Don’t you think she looks like one of those 70′s roller skater girls here? hehe!

Back to school tomorrow, I am hoping things return to some form of normal soon.. Need to get Boo back into our day time routine.. hehe.

I went over to Ava’s house a few weeks ago to capture her newborn portraits.  I had a run of really tiny little babies so it was great to work with a bigger one for a change:)she was so squishy <3
I had a great time with her.
